What is A2 Milk?


A2 milk is milk extracted from Desi Cows. Desi Cow’s milk contains essential nutrients and is free from A1 proteins, making it easier to digest and healthier for consumption.

The Gir cow is a well-known Indian breed, originally from Gujarat, specifically the Gir, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, and Amreli districts. It is characterized by its reddish-brown color with white patches, a distinctive convex forehead, and long, pendulous ears. The Gir cow is revered for its high-quality A2 milk, known for its rich nutritional profile and health benefits.

 

A2 Desi Cow Ghee – The Vedic Way


Nature Nest Ghee is prepared using the traditional “Bilona” method, ensuring purity and nutritional integrity.

The organic A2 Desi cow milk is boiled on a low flame in earthen pots over a traditional Chulha, giving it a pure golden color and a rich aroma.

After cooling, a teaspoon of curd is added for overnight fermentation.

The next day, the curd is hand-churned clockwise and anti-clockwise for nearly 1.5 hours.

The extracted Makkhan (butter) is separated from the buttermilk and slowly heated until the buttermilk evaporates, leaving behind golden, pure, organic ghee.
